While I’m enjoying the sun on the Cote d’Azur, I’m testing the products of the German-French brand Ombelle. As you know, I’m a big fan of small individual brands from amazing women. Ombelle is one of those . Ombelle products are vegan, without palm oil and alcohol. They are free of microplastics and contain no synthetic dyes, fragrances, preservatives, kerosenes, petrochemicals, phthalates, parabens or other toxic substances.
And of course everything is plastic free, from packaging to shipping!
Mineral sunscreen that does not whiten!!!

Admittedly, I was skeptical when Celine, founder of Ombelle told me she had a great mineral sunscreen that didn’t leave a white film. Too many times have I tried mineral creams with the same claim, only to find that they are incredibly difficult to spread and hide my tanned skin behind a veil of whiteness.
I was then all the more positively surprised by the Ombelle Lumiere SPF 30 cream. With shea butter, vitamin E, jojoba and karanja oil, the cream not only protects against the sun’s rays, but also softens the skin at the same time. The Ombelle sunscreen contains natural scents from the south of France – for me it scents delicately of almond.
Lip Balm for Kissable Lips

The lip balm Tendres Bisous (soft kisses) melts when applied and leaves lips soft and nourished.
Organic kpangnan butter (pronounced panijan) is obtained from the seeds of the edible berries of the West African “butter tree”. In the beauty care of West African women and in their diet, this butter has played a major role for generations. Kpangnan butter is even more nourishing than shea butter. The management of Kpangnan trees helps to protect the local forests and provide an income for women who traditionally collect these wild fruits.
Other varieties are Jolis Bisous with rose and Petits Bisous with apricot.
Reine Sheabutter und weitere Produkte
In addition, Ombelle offers products based on shea butter, such as pleasantly scented deodorant creams, body butters and bath salts.
And since everything is inspired by the scents of the South of France, even the ingredient list of the deodorants almost reads like a perfume. I like the Divine Lagoon with bergamot, green tea and sage or the more dulcet L’Amour Fou with hawthorn and almond blossoms, vanilla and sandalwood.
*Disclaimer: For this article, I have received test products from Ombelle. I only partner with brands that I have personally tested, like and that fit my values.
